Solar power is a great way to reduce your energy costs and carbon footprint by harnessing the sun's rays to generate electricity. "Plugging into the sun".
Just thought I would do a rehash of the Green Loans article from last July.
Solar power is a great way to reduce your energy costs and carbon footprint by harnessing the sun's rays to generate electricity. "Plugging into the sun".
It is very cost effective with extremely good returns on your investment. Really, is there anything else out there that could give you a 20% ROI?
One of the problems is though, that not everyone can benefit, because of the upfront costs. Yes, the solar rebate is very attractive and beneficial, but a quality solar installation still has an out-of-pocket expense. You would usually have to budget between $6k to $12k for a large enough system to harness enough power to knock over that power bill. Even at these costs though, you will still see your investment repaid to you within 4-5yrs.
If you finance that $6k solar system, you could have repayments of about $18 per week, for a system that could give you a $30 a week benefit. You’re in front from day one. I say to people, light heartedly, if I was at the markets, selling $30 notes for $18 each, how long do you think the que would be. But that is actually what you are getting when financing your solar.
Even if you have the cash in your bank, not everyone wants to empty their account in one transaction. It's very strange times we are in with this new COVID era that we now live in, so making a payment plan makes perfect sense.
We have a "Silver Referral Partner" relationship with Community First Credit Union, who provide Green Loans, at excellent rates and up to 10 year terms. You can link to them through our website www.freedomsolarandbatteries.com.au on the front page to get a pre-approval.
We have also brought Handy Pay on board with us as a second option for a Green Loan. They also have great rates and terms up to 10 years. Both of these organisations, more importantly, are signatories to the "Responsible Lender" Charter and as with Community First, you can get a pre-approval in minutes, without affecting your credit score.
Let's have a chat about how financing your solar system might be a great solution to get you into solar power.
Cheers, Cameron,
